CGIN Unveils New Website

In 1997, a group of retail food cooperative leaders got together to build the framework for an online, member-based resource to support the growth and development of food co-ops nationwide. Shortly thereafter, the Cooperative Grocers’ Information Network (CGIN) was born, giving food cooperators an electronic forum for sharing ideas, discussing issues, and exchanging best practices.

It didn’t take long for CGIN to become the “go-to” information resource. And its content has grown exponentially. Now, the website (www.cgin.coop) has been updated and re-released with a clean new look, enhanced navigation, and advanced search capabilities. The newly formatted site also features:
  • an online posting system for photo galleries, deli recipes, basic library items and classifieds;
  • photo galleries organized by classifications;
  • a dynamic listing of resources; and
  • simplified site maintenance.

If you haven’t visited CGIN in some time, now is a great time to take it for a test drive. Visit www.cgin.coop. The feedback link on the homepage gives you an easy way to share your views and ideas.
