Co-op Cafés Explore Impact and Participation

Come without expectations, be ready for an inspiring, enriching experience."
– Ellen McCormick, board member, Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op

We had a great time at the Co-op Cafe in Sacramento, CA lasts weekend! It was a wonderful day of conversation focused on the 2017 Co-op Cafe theme: Co-op Impact! Co-op Participation! The day included many stories and conversations focused on the positive impact created by our co-ops and the diverse and widespread participation that produces that impact.

Join us at a Co-op Cafe this month:

3/4/17 - St. Paul, Minnesota
3/18/17 - Raleigh, North Carolina
3/25/17 - Madison, Wisconsin

Think of large and small ways the co-op makes a difference to people and community. Think of how those positive things come about because of specific decisions and actions that take place throughout the co-op. We'll explore how communities make a difference and how that impact is derived from the actions of many people through the co-op.

Who should attend

Rent a bus and bring directors, managers and staff - anyone you want to be in this conversation back home at your own co-op, including directors, managers, membership and marketing leaders, staff, committee members and anyone involved in your co-op's relationship with members and community.

The Co-op Cafes are sponsored by National Co+op Grocers (NCG), with additional support from National Cooperative Bank (NCB), and produced by the CDS Consulting Co-op as a series of regional events making it possible for cooperators, whatever their role or position, to come together with other cooperators to participate in a day of strategic conversation.

There is a modest fee per participant. $60 per person covers meals and incidentals. Bring eight or more people and we'll pay for one (eight can come for $420). More are welcome! Click here for logistics information for events.
