Little Falls Food Co-op

In January 2015, the Steering Committee incorporated under the name “Little Falls Food Co-Op” with the understanding that when we got closer to establishing the store, we would choose the store’s name.  At the July community meeting, we announced the name of our future store - The Purple Carrot Market

Weavers Way Co-op started in 1973 and currently has 5,000+ member households. Our original Mount Airy location has a prepareds food department, deli, produce department with organic selection, grocery and frozen items, fresh meats and fish, dairy, health and beauty products, vitamins and gifts. The co-op offers its members check-cashing, fax, copy and photo services, membership in a credit union, informational workshops, community bulletin board, and a business discount program.
