Hi Rhonda! I hope you're run through helps us find stuff we need to fix.

I'll be there, jiving and attempting jibes.

Ah, Doug, I wholeheartedly appreciate. So glad you pointed me to proper usage and I do claim an error!
As soon as I typed that, it felt wrong. Culturally insensitive slang, to say the least.
To be clear with you, my test group colleagues, my intention was to use that particular word in relation to its 4th definition on Wiktionary: (intransitive, colloquial) To agree, to accord.
We learn something new every day, don't we?
Hoping to see many of you in person next week in Austin :) - 10:36 pm EDT
Poor Allison! Now you get to hear my canned lecture about word usage. "Jive" is not the same as "jibe," and the original usage of words precluded the phrase you used above. People use words any which way now, and I've seen your use before -- so I won't claim it's an error, as do "most sources" according to Wiktionary.
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/jibe
There are a lot of categories waiting to be populated in the schema TriPark has set for the new library. I think that they're anticipating that users will make use of these as time goes on.

I went back to the library again today, while definitely logged in, and explored. I can see lists of newsletter articles now, and a single social media policy (from New Pi). Its entirely possibly I was not logged in when I was cruising around the library before, so my apologies :) Its pretty obvious that some areas have much more content than others. Under the "Media and Promotions" category, for instance, the only sub-category that's populated is "Radio Clips." Does that jive with what others are seeing?

Thanks, Allison, I will look into the Library issues. Yes, we hope all CGN members will be able to access the Library, though members of the general public will not be able to.

This is great feed back Allison and Steve! Thanks!
One thing I want to check is whether you know if you were logged in when you made these searches. I have the ability to masqerade as your account and was able to for instance see the page with the Social Media Policies on it, as well as lots of content under the subheadings in Allison.
Otherwise, it looks like we have an issue with document contribution attribution. Definitely look into that!
We have lots of work to do with curating the resources on this site and building ways in which searching for docs is much easier on this site.
One of the ways is through more guidance on the site on how to effecively search, another is to build our library of Wikis. For instance there is a wiki for PTO set up. http://www.cooperativegrocer.coop/wiki/paid-time-off As time goes on, we can add to that Wiki the relevant information.
The other is to provide reference librarian service. Like, let's ask Dave Gutknecht what he can dredge up for you about this.
Stay tuned!

Hi Heewon,
Are you anticipating that folks who use the CGN Public Group will also be accessing the Library? If so, please see my comment from earlier today on the "Using Library" discussion that Steve Cooke started.
Thanks, and let us know how else we can help with the transition!

Hi Steve and all,
I'd like to echo the challenge(s) you're experiencing. I searched in the library today for resources about newsletters and social media. When I found myself on this page: http://www.cooperativegrocer.coop/library/tags/article-examples, I hoped to view some content. When I clicked on the available links, though, nothing occurred. To further explain, I've pasted text below from that page. The lines starting with "Articles About", "Articles for Kids" and "Food and Recipes" are hyperlinks. When I clicked on each of them, though, I never got to an actual listing of available items.
More Categories in Article Examples
Articles About Co-ops
Articles About Herbs & Botanicals
Articles About Holidays
Articles About Organics & GMO Foods
Articles About Wellness
Articles For Kids
Foods and RecipesI experienced the same phenomenon when attempting to view items/content on this page: http://www.cooperativegrocer.coop/library/tags/social-media-policies
Perhaps all the content simply has not been dumped in yet? Please tell me if I'm missing something completely obvious! One of the things I'm most excited about for this site is reviewing and contributing to the library. Thanks, everyone.

Dan, in addition to dropping in the new logo, there's one more edit to make on Seward's page.
In the "Store Contact" field, the word "manager" is misspelled. Thanks!
- 10:36 pm EDT
Not quite. The new logo drops the "grocery & deli."
It is attached, as a png. Lemme know if you'd prefer jpg, or the same logo in black & white. (In fact, there's a whole package of logos I could share with ya :) - 10:36 pm EDT
Obviously, some people are already using it, but I should make it clear we are getting ready to announce it on the listserve and have large groups of people coming over to use the site.
- 10:36 pm EDTDan Nordley, CGN Web Support replied to Editing Co-op Pages?
Yes, you can email me new logo. Does it look like this?
- 10:36 pm EDT
OK, let me try moving the discussions up and the activity down. Thanks!

- 10:36 pm EDT
Hmm ... what about the reoccuring, bring your kids to work discussion? Or flooring? Or how to clean bulk bins?
- 10:36 pm EDT
We're trying to chatter enough to be a useful test, but it's hard.
You have to appreciate Steve Cooke talking about music, though: what better subject for repetition of old discussions? That's actually a question: apart from music in the store, what other topics are "chestnuts" that will never be resolved?
- 10:36 pm EDT
I agree with Annie, I'd appreciate having the recent discussions first and then activity.
And yes, Dan, I can see the "comment viewing options" area. Monkeyed around with it and decided I like the expanded view for now. Might opt to collapse when more chatter starts happening...
Allison - 10:36 pm EDT
Thanks Dan! If I email you our new logo can you drop that in as well? (Or I can ask Liz next week.)
