Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Purpose:  To provide timely, accurate financial information and analysis to management, to support achievement of business objectives.

Pay Level V – Starting Wage: $13.60, depending on experience

Benefits and raise after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period. Also eligible to join the Management Team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, organized, responsible, flexible
  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • 3 years of bookkeeping experience (or 5 years of combined education and experience)
  • Experience with accounts payable, general ledger, financial statements & analysis, closing procedures, audit/review prep, payroll, and payroll taxes
  • Experience creating and analyzing a budget
  • Experience handling cash
  • Ability to meet multiple ongoing deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Functional Qualifications

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, squat and walk for extended periods of time per shift
  • Demonstrated ability to work with customers and co-workers from various backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple demands
  • Ability to assist customers with product questions in a prompt, courteous manner
