The Portland Food Co-op is searching for a Marketing and Community Engagement Coordinator. This person is responsible for all aspects of the marketing, promotion, education, and outreach for the Co-op. They will create our in-store signage, coordinate with department managers on promotions, manage our social media and email campaigns, coordinate in-store and offsite classes and educational events, and work with the General Manager to ensure that the Co-op’s mission and brand is communicated strategically and effectively. This position requires the ability to work well in a shared and often crowded work environment.

The successful candidate should have marketing and community engagement experience.  They should also be comfortable with the MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel), Mailchimp, and Photoshop. InDesign experience a plus but not required. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. Evening and weekend availability may sometimes be required.
